Double Your Fashion Dollars
Double Your Fashion Dollars is back in conjunction with a VIP Fashion Make-Over. Orion Springfield will launch Spring 2008 season's with all the latest fashion trends and wardrobe solutions!
On Saturday 30 August 2008 between 9.00am to 5.00pm come in for your change to Double Your Fashion Dollars. Simply make a purchase between $40 and $200 in a single transaction at any participating retailer. Customers then have the opportunity to Double their Fashion Dollars with a 50/50 chance to win their transaction back in centre vouchers. Maximum value returned will be $200. Bring your receipts to our display in front of Woolworths for chance to win.
VIP Fashion Makeover
Plus, customers simply spend $40* or more in any fashion store between 1 August and 30 August 2008 to qualify for entry into this competition. Customers are required to take their receipts to the Customer Service desk for validation and in return will be given an entry form to complete.
Ten (10) lucky customers will be judged from all qualifying entrants based on a simple "How would a VIP make-over make you feel special'.
Winners will be notified on Saturday 30 August and then on Sunday 31 August will be invited on to the VIP Fashion Runway at Orion Springfield for a 4-hour $500 Fashion-Makeover.
For you to be a finalist, you must be able to attend on Sunday 31 August for the make-over.
Plus, Caroline Pemberton, Miss World Australia 2007 will be in centre during the 2 day promotions.
*The $40 spend can be made up of multiple receipts.
Ipswich City Council Mobile Library
The Ipswich City Council Mobile Library will be visiting our centre on a fortnightly basis from Thursday 1 May 2008 between 2.00pm and 7.00pm. The mobile library will be located near the covered walkway adjacent the Caltex Woolworths petrol station.
Visitors to the library will be able to check out books, magazines, DVD's and music. Borrowers also have the ability to return their items to the static libraries located at Redbank Plains, Redbank Plaza or the Ipswich Global Information Centre.
Community Baby Markets
If unused strollers, bassinets and high chairs are cluttering your cupboards then Orion has some good news for you. We are looking into establishing a Tiny Tots Market selling pre-loved baby and toddler items. These markets will provide shoppers with a regular opportunity to buy quality second hand goods for babies and young children.

Orion Springfield wins Shopping Centre of the Year!
On Friday 5 October 2007, Orion Springfield Town Centre was crowned Shopping Centre of the Year at the Property Council's 2007 Shopping Centre of the Year Awards. Orion won the overall prize in the Property Council of Australia's state-wide annual ceremony, ahead of some of the biggest names in shopping centres.
Property Council Executive Director, Robert Walker said "As the overall winner, Orion displayed outstanding capabilities in all four judging categories, with particular excellence displayed in environmental initiatives with the implementation of recycled water supply, smart waste and electricity management systems". Well done Orion Springfield!
