Stage One

Orion Springfield Town Centre is a staged development owned by Mirvac. It is situated 15km east of Ipswich and 25km south west of Brisbane.  The Town Centre is positioned within a major regional centre which has been planned to service the growing outer south western suburbs of Brisbane and outer eastern suburbs of Ipswich.

The centre is highly accessible, located just off the Centenary Highway.  A bus interchange is situated next to the centre with services to local suburbs, Education City, Goodna and Redbank railway stations.

Orion Springfield opened in March 2007 with the completion of Stage 1 being a 32,000 sqm retail precinct.  This is now represented by approximately 110 retailers within a Main Street, Town Square, and connecting malls. This is a fresh and open retail development, creating the ambiance and feel of a traditional city centre, as opposed to an enclosed shopping mall.  Orion is anchored by a Woolworths supermarket, Big W discount department store and Aldi supermarket, with 2200 car parks in total of which a large amount are undercover.
