Nine News Junior Cadet Competition
It's every kids dream of being on television, and Channel Nine is giving students in years 6, 7, 8 or 9 during 2008 the chance to enter the Nine News Junior Cadet competition.
The Nine News Junior Cadet competition is a search for the best junior news cadets in south-east Queensland. Students across south-east Queensland primary and high schools will be invited to enter the Nine News Junior Cadet competition and vie to be the number one Nine News Junior Cadet in their age group.
Orion Springfield has been selected out of many shopping centres throughout south-east Queensland to host a regional competition.
The regional events will be hosted by Heather Foord and Bruce Paige. The regional event for Orion Springfield will be held in Town Square on Saturday 30 August 2008.

Father's Day
Father's day is Sunday 7 September 2008 and Orion Springfield is running a "Boys Toys for Father's Day" promotion over that weekend*
We are giving away FREE ‘MP3 Player's to all Dads during this weekend*. To be eligible customers simply spend $50 or more in any participating retail store during this weekend* and take their receipts to the customer service desk for validation. Customers receipts can be cumulative to make up the $50 value. Hurry in as stocks are limited!

Also for the kids, they will be kept entertained with mini jeep rides and a cars merry go round on the grassed area behind Toscani's.
